Legal framework
We process personal data in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) as applicable in Iceland, and Act No. 90/2018 on Data Protection and the Processing of Personal Data (lög um persónuvernd og vinnslu persónuupplýsinga). The Icelandic Data Protection Authority is Persónuvernd (www.personuvernd.is).
What we collect
When you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message content. If you phone the nursery, we may note your name and callback number to answer your request. We do not sell personal data.
Purposes and bases
We use contact details to reply to enquiries, arrange plant pickups, and manage ordinary customer service (legitimate interests and/or steps prior to a contract). Necessary technical cookies keep the site working (see our cookie policy). Optional analytics run only if you consent.
Retention
Enquiry emails and form messages are kept only as long as needed to complete the conversation and for a short follow-up period, then deleted or archived according to ordinary business practice unless a longer period is required by law.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or objection where applicable, and data portability for data you provided. You may withdraw consent for optional cookies at any time. Transfers and security
We store correspondence on systems used to operate the nursery. If a provider processes data outside Iceland or the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access.
